MC The Copley Arms Hessenford Valley Cornwall

The Hessenford Valley is quiet, and one of those places were time does not seem to exist. As the road dips down, the Copley Arms is on the right hand side.
The building itself, was originally, mill workers cottages. The Old Mill, complete with water wheel, is nearby.
It is pleasant, on a summr’s day, to have lunch alongside the stream, or, to enjoy a romantic dinner in the Inn itself. The atmosphere is gentle, and relaxing.
The Copley also offers rooms to stay the night. It is also possible to stay at the old mill, on a bed and breakfast basis.
The mill and the Inn, once was owned by the same family, dating back some time. Whether or not, it has a ghost or two, we do not know, but the valley is well worth a visit.

The Old Mill

Water wheel, please play me a tune
As you turn, in time in life so soon
Waters of the stream, that pass, push you round
Draw their strength, in a falling sound
Rainbows of light, guides by the sun
Disperse in prisms but then are one
Turn upon turn, you make cast your spell
That draws you in, like a magnetic shell
Turn again, like the spirals of space
To find eternal love, with God’s good grace.
