aMD Budleigh Salterton Devon
This small quaint resort, still retains the charm of Devon by the sea. A place to relax, and walk along it’s long shingle beach. There is quite an interesting cliff walk, leading weatward from the beach. The path carries along past the Golf course, and then through the Haven Holidays, Devon Cliffs Park, before continuing on the Exmouth.
There are some great sea views’ across the bay. Further inland is Bicton Gardens, which are worth a visit. The resorts of Seaton and Sidmouth are easily reached to add to a visit to the beautiful part of East Devon.
For those who enjoy a quiet relaxing vacation brilliant scenery, this is the place to be.
A Devon Rose
I lift my head, to greet the sun
My petals yawn, in scented air
In nature’s life, we are but one
The love of thoughts, I truly care
My perfume is sweet, as gentle touch
My stem of thorns, beware I say
The joy I bring, means so much
Hold me close, as if to pray
Take care in life, please be sure
Gentleness will greet, the purest light
Step inside, each open door
Each dawn, each day, follows each night
I am a gift, for each desire
In love’s embrace, I tell you so
Touch and hear, my vibrant choir
Mt secret I give, for you to know
You ask my name, are you wise
I speak, as the cool wind blows
I see your heart, reflects your eyes
In peace and love, I am Devon Rose.
