The Observers.
Flight from space, cool they arrive,
A voyage of time, our origins they drive.
Past stars that blaze a trail, show the way,
To planets that spin, giving night and day,
Galaxies that wheel, in the universal void.
Dust of the beginning, cloud Comets to avoid,
Highways to systems, we may not see,
Past the speed of light, they go free.
The ancients knew well, what lies out there,
Left Temples of knowledge, so vast, to share.
Lights that hover, flash, and motion align,
To view with interest, our progress in time.
Ride high with meteors, that hurtle in space,
Behind ice cold moons, orbiting planets they race.
Mankind is not strange to them, as they spy,
We are in their image, maybe, but why?
