Dartmoor

Hello from Canada! A few years ago on my visit to Southern England where my good friend lives, we spent the day on the Dartmoor. It was a lovely day walking the fields and spending time at the Two Bridges. We sat with our legs dangling down into the water. It would have been a lovely place for a picnic but we didn't bring one - next time perhaps.
It was such a beautiful calm warm day and the atmosphere on the Dartmoor was just magical. The only visitors we saw were the resident ponies who are quite friendly and looking for handouts. Be careful Gents, the ponies can become a little "frisky"!
If you are ever touring in the area of the Dartmoor, make sure you take time to stop and enjoy.
