The Road from Heliopolis by Adian Frost - Fri 5th Feb 7 pm at Plymouth Natural Health & Healing Centre - all welcome.
‘The Road from Heliopolis’ will endeavour to explain aspects of this enigmatic city. The talk also covers little known and controversial theories which will intrigue and make you want to know more.
Mentioned in the Bible, this ‘Place of the First Time’, the ‘City of Light’, Heliopolis is said to be the oldest of all the ancient Egyptian cities. It was here that some say the ‘Lost Chamber of Records’ was located, where the legacy of Atlantis was stored. Famous figures from early history and myth such as Orpheus, Homer, Pythagoras, Plato, Solon and other Greek philosophers were said to have studied here and learn from the Heliopolitan priesthood. Their knowledge of astronomy, architecture, mathematics and science was so advanced that we struggle to understand some of these concepts even today. The legends talk of ‘The Followers of Horus’ the supposed builders of Heliopolis. Who were this mysterious group of god-like beings?
