Holywell bay The Mirage

Post by Katewhitmarsh » Sun May 31, 2015 1:54 pm

Written by a local man

The Mirage

A day in May, in Holywell Bay
Enjoying the day, the way we play
ON the sand with our bats, having a laugh fancy that
With the girl I love and the girl I adore
I want to be her evermore
She holds the key, she pulls the string, I’ll do anything
I’m her puppet on a string.

Two people playing Badminton on the sand. Time to be together, and share their love for each other. This poem shows true feeling. The passage of love also brings much joy, and also much sadness. Whatever the path, no doubt a signpost will be provided for them.
