It is said, that beneath the waters of Burrator Reservoir, there lies the remains of a village or hamlet, complete with cottages, and a Church.
Local folk say, that on a calm night, when all is quiet upon the moor, the sound of a church bell can be heard. The fentle toll of the bell, is carried upon the wind, in the still of the night..
For whom does the bell toll ?
True or Myth?
