Woolacombe - North Devon - Rollers

MD – Woolacombe

Voted recently as the 2nd most popular beach in Britain, Woolacombe is certainly worth it. On the North Devon coast, the bay is gifted with the splendour of the North Atllantic rollers, reaching the beach, after a long journey across the ocean. The smell of salt, and the cooling breeze wrapping around you, the beach is one of the most beautiful places in Devon.

Rollers

Dancing like gems, upon a shinning glass
Waves crash upon a sandy dream
Born as far, as life in mass
Is journey’s end, it would seem

As in life, waves, come and go
Birth, live, and then expire
Speeding fast, then drifing slow
Full of life, then they tire

Surfer’s ride a wave, the thrill of sport
Beaming smiles, to those on shore
The warming Sun, lends it’s support
Magical Woolacombe, much love, much more.
