Cox Tor Dartmoor - The Radiant Cross

MD Cox Tor – Dartmoor Devon

Standing on the top of the Tor one sunny Saturday afternoon, it was interesting to watch cloud formations, in the sky to the south. It appeared quite magical, as the clouds moved gently in various directions. Eventually, they seems to form an equal sided cross, and with the Sun,s golden rays reflection from it, it surely was a mystical sight. As with the rings of Saturn, the universe can reflect the beauty of creation in a blink of an eye.
Cox Tor is situated on the left hand side of the Tavistock to Princetown road. It is a lovely walk across the moor to the tor, from a nearby car park.

The Brilliant Cross
Fear not, nor suffer upon this earthly plain,
For it is not the desire of the starlight engineer.
Cast aside wars that give so much pain,
To live in peaceful paradise, forever clear.
The light, such beautiful light,
That sweeps dark minds to another place.
Darkness that champions the night,
Replaced by the light of love and grace.
Hide not your eyes, but let them see,
The truth of creation is not at loss.
The beauty of love will follow thee,
When you kiss the light of the Radiant Cross.
