Blackpool Sands - Devon - Rocky Pebble

Post by Ray » Sun Sep 23, 2012 5:21 pm

MD Blackpool Sands. Devon
This scenic beach, hides away between the villages of Strete and Stoke Fleming, on the A379, on the south coast. The approach, is impressive, decending the hill, with a combination of woodlands and the peeble beach beyond.
Sometimes confused with it's lively Lancashire namesake, The Devon version is a peaceful place, to gather your thoughts.

Rocky Pebble

“Hey man! Careful where you walk
One step more, and you’ll step on me
If you’ve got five, sit and have a talk
It’s sure good, down here by the sea

I’m only a liddle guy, seen a bit of life
Rubbing shoulders, with this crowd here
Kind of broke away from trouble and strife
Just drifted, here, and drifted there

My mates, Yeah, the’re great guys
We thought we’d find some now horizons
We formed a band, yeah, preddy wise
Stoney Cliff Face and the Erosions

Wen on tour, yeah, priddy good
Gig a night night, on the beach
Got a crowd, yeah, as you should
Dig the beat man, just out of reach
-
Gig over, we yeah, caught the tide
Headed south, down the coast
Bid of luck, we hitched a ride
Wahed up here, yeah, like it most

Hey man, been good to meet you
Tide’s a turnin so, watch ya clock
Pass by tonight, there’s plenny to do
Moon, stars, and :eavy Blackpool Rock”.
