The Ship Inn - Ugborough

This quaint little Inn, lies tucked away in a lane, leading from the village centre, overlooking the church. In the summer, the entrance is a vast sea of colourful flowers, which adds to its welcome.

To be fair, the Inn is not particulary famous for any paranormal activity, but the atmosphere, inside, especially the lounge, gives it a distint possibility. The owner once commented, that during some building work some years ago, there was a feeling of someone unseen, watching proceedings.

Maybe an investigation is possible here to determine if the presence of a young girl, stood next to the fireplace could be confirmed.

A visit to the Inn is indeed is well worth while, if nothing else to sample the excellent cusine, for whcih the Inn is noted for.
