Plymbridge - Theory of the Rain Drops

Plymbridge

So near to the centre of Plymouth, and yet you feel that you are in another world. The rive Plym makes its way graciously through the woods, passing beneath the old medieval bridge, on its way to the sea.

A gentle walk or cycle ride along the now dis-used railway, is a chance to connect with nature, enjoying the stimulating energy of the woodland. No matter what time of year you visit, this part of the Plym valley offers an abundance of colour and well being.

On your journey northwards for the bridge, you cross viaducts and go under tunnels, which give an added feel of history. The sound of the river vibrates everywhere you go here. Wildlife, of all descriptions, can be seen and heard. A place indeed to witness, the circle of life.

Theory of the Rain Drops

Circles of life, within my soul I keep
Born of clouds, while passing weep
Fall to earth, through soils that drain
To streams that carry me on again
Re-incarnated, I return to seek
To forgive, no longer will make me weak
Peace and love, will help me find
A passage to eternity, beyond my mind
My travels in time, onward to the sea
For I am you, and you are me.
