Grimspound - Dartmoor

Post by Ray » Sun Feb 05, 2012 11:46 am

Some people may say, OK, what's the bid deal, It's only a few stones left handing around on the moor. Good comment. Grimspound, however, is interesting due to the fact that hut circles and an enclosure can be easily seen, and is accessable from the nearby rod. It is the view that Dartmoor, now quite rugged and exposed, was once forested with a more warmer climate. This area of the moor, has an atmoshere all of it's own, and is well worth a visit. Grimspound is located near Postbridge.
